Split Systems
What is a split system?
A split system heats and cools one room from a single unit. The indoor head mounts high on the wall, the outdoor unit sits on the ground or a bracket outside, and copper pipework joins the two. One outdoor unit can also run several indoor heads.
Why choose a split system?
It is the quickest and cheapest way to heat and cool a room, and a single split is usually installed in a day. Each room runs on its own setting, so you only pay for the spaces you use, and modern inverter units are quiet and cheap to run.

Service & Repair
What is a service?
A service is a check and clean of a working system: filters, coils, drains, refrigerant, electrical connections and an operating test. A repair starts with a fault. We find the cause first and put a price on the fix in writing before any part is ordered.
Why service your system?
A serviced system uses less power, keeps the air cleaner and lasts years longer. Most breakdowns start as a blocked filter or a tired part that a service would have caught, and on ducted systems the return-air filter and zone dampers get checked too.
$149 standard service inc. GST. Fault finding around $150 for the first 45 minutes, then a written price for the repair.
Gas Ducted Heating
What is gas ducted heating?
A gas ducted heater is one central unit, usually in the roof space or under the floor, that burns natural gas to warm air and pushes it through ducts to an outlet in each room. One thermostat runs the house, and zoning can close off rooms you are not using.
Why service it every two years?
Energy Safe Victoria recommends a service at least every two years, with a carbon monoxide test. A serviced heater lights first time, heats evenly and costs less to run, and the test picks up a cracked heat exchanger before it becomes a health risk.

Ducted Reverse-Cycle
What is ducted reverse-cycle?
A ducted reverse-cycle system heats and cools the whole house from one outdoor unit and an indoor unit in the roof space. Air runs through insulated ducts to a vent in each room, and zones let the bedrooms and living areas run on different settings.
Why choose ducted reverse-cycle?
One system, one controller, nothing on the walls. Zoning means you heat or cool only the rooms in use, and a modern heat pump costs less to run than a gas heater doing the same job, which is why most gas-to-electric changeovers end up here.
